I loved Woodstock (1970 documentary) and the pure nostalgia of the festival is a great backdrop for a narrative. So when I heard Ang Lee would be directing with Dimitri Martin (jury still out for this kid) starring--I grew skeptical. The cast is solid with Liev Schreiber, Emile Hirsch, Eugene Levy, Paul Dano, and Jeffery Dean Morgan (Denny from Grey's Anatomy and Javier Bardem doppleganger). It just looks a little too clean cut.
